1) Information We Collect
App data you enter:
- Meal timestamps (e.g., “first bite” time), meal type tags, reminder settings.
- Glucose values you log and the time you log them.
- Optional notes (if you use them).
Automatically collected data:
- None by default. The app does not require registration and does not automatically collect personal identifiers.
If we add analytics, crash reporting, cloud sync, or accounts in a future version, we will update this policy and (where required) ask for consent.
2) How We Use Your Information
We use your app data only to provide core functionality, such as:
- Starting and scheduling post-meal reminders.
- Displaying your logs and basic summaries (e.g., in-range vs. high, based on your configured targets).
- Supporting export/sharing features when you initiate them.
3) Where Your Data Is Stored
On-device storage (default): Your logs are stored locally on your iPhone/iPad.
Backups: Your device backup settings (e.g., iCloud/iTunes backups) may back up app data depending on your Apple device settings. We do not control Apple’s backup behavior.
Exports: If you export or share your logs (e.g., CSV/PDF), the data leaves the app under your control and may be handled by the destination app/service you choose.
4) Notifications
The app uses local notifications to remind you when it is time to check glucose after a meal.
- You can enable/disable notifications in iOS Settings.
- Notification content may include meal type and timing information (e.g., “Lunch + 2 hours”).
5) Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your app data with third parties unless:
- You initiate sharing/export.
- We are required to comply with applicable law or valid legal process.
- It is necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of users or the public.
6) Data Retention
Your data stays in the app until you delete it or uninstall the app. Deleting the app typically removes local data from the device.
7) Security
We take reasonable measures to help protect your data. However, no method of storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your device (passcode/Face ID) and managing exports/backups.
8) Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9) International Users
If you use the app outside your country, you understand that your device, backups, and export destinations may process data under different laws and protections.
10) Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date.
